The easiest way for singles online to get little or no interest is not to post a photo. Depending on which statistics you follow, you are 7 to 10 times more likely to be contacted if you post a photo on the sites.

Men are particularly visually attracted. A poorly taken photo is a killer as far as interest is concerned. I’ve worked with many male clients and when you watch how they go through internet dating sites, they just surf the photo’s. If you’re photo isn’t up to scratch, you’re losing dates.
3. Poorly written profiles
You must write what your audience wants to read. You’re almost writing an advert for yourself! A bit of time and preparation is required to write a good profile.
4. Exaggerating the truth to get more interest
This works right up until the time they meet you. And there are not many more devastating things to your ego than watching your date's face fall as they see you for the first time!
