Signs of Flirting

Identified in a University level applied study, these 9 signs of flirting are proven to be the only ones you need to learn if you want a scientifically tested, 90% success rate in being approached by or approaching potential partners.

So if you want to know whether that gorgeous guy or wicked woman across the room wants to get to know you better, read on.

In the traditional reverse order...

Signs of Flirting – Number 9

Dancing alone
Yes - dancing alone, is number 9. Obviously not dancing alone in the middle of the street! The study was done in a club. But one of the best ways of attracting wanted attention is to make sure the message you're giving out is clear – I’m on my own and I’m available.

It’s so much more difficult for men to approach you when you’re in a group, or even just with a friend. Dancing alone leaves the approacher in no doubt.

Men - Don't do this one yourself! Just look out for single dancers.

Did You Know...?

There are 3 main areas to be aware of in flirting

  1. The most important flirting signs
  2. The 'rapport' of your body with your partner
  3. Signs of flirting in conversation -
    how
they say & what they say

Signs of Flirting – Number 8

Head toss
Classically shaking your hair back out of the way with a flip of your head (difficult if your hair is as short as mine!). Again, this is one for women to do and men to look out for.

Did You Know...?

When you're flirting to get dates, there are two distinctly different phases.

The first is when you’re not in conversation with your potential partner. Here flirting through body language is pretty much all you’re relying on. These 9 signs are massively important to your success at this phase.

The second phase is when you are close up and personal. You’re having a conversation and the role of body rapport and conversational flirting come much more into play.

Signs of Flirting – Number 7

Fixated gaze
Someone across the room is staring straight at you, you meet their eyes and they hold your look slightly longer than is ‘normal’. That’s sign number 7. This one cuts both ways - men and women can both initiate or respond to that lingering look.

Aren't these so easy to learn by the way?

I’m a professional dating coach and even I get confused by trying to remember, if he tilts his head, whilst scratching his right ear with his pupils dilating it means he’s interested - but only on Wednesdays ;-)

Did You Know...?

These signs of flirting are NOT the most important factor determining your success!

Let me say that again.

Even if you learn the best flirting signs, you might as well not have bothered if you don’t know the single most important factor in how to use them!

There were people in the study that used these most important flirting signs, but still failed to be approached on a consistent basis!
