I'm reluctant to download .exe's over the internet.exe files are sometimes used to spread viruses on the internet. If you would like confirmation that the file is virus free you can visit the following sites, upload the file and run their checker: Or, feel free to search online to find another virus scanner using the search term 'online virus scanner' (or something like that.) The file is an .exe file. These files are occasionally used to hide viruses but not in our case! A few commercially available scanners may have more cautious settings (McAfee is the only one we've had reported so far flagging it as a potential virus). Please let us know if you're experiencing this problem using something other than McAfee. What our file actually does when it's first opened, is check the computer it's been opened on and notifies our security company of that. It then means that our ebook's cannot be copied and used on other people's computers.
