Passion and SincerityOne last thing on the quality of your voice. What difference do you notice in yourself and others when they're talking about something they love? If what you're talking about is dull, dull, dull - it comes across in how you feel about the subject and how you sound when you're talking about it. But get on to something you feel strong emotions about - negatively or positively - and boy, what a difference! In reality all you are doing is subconsciously shifting the qualities of your voice, from less varied and emphatic in the dull conversation to more varied and punchy in the passionate one. How can you use this? Well, give yourself the best chance to sound exciting and engaged in life by having conversations on topics that you really feel passionate about. I think I've given you enough tools to use to steer the conversation topic into something that gives you a buzz. Just realise that there's more reason to do this than just having something that interests you. If you come across as passionate about something, then that's a powerful attractor for the person sitting across from you. Next
